Printing is the culmination of the process that starts with a vision. All of my equipment starting with the camera, the computer screen, the printer, inks and print media are chosen and color calibrated to help ensure that the final print matches the vision. I carefully custom print each image on either a large format fine art Epson printer, using Ultra Chrome HDR ink, or on a large format Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-4100 Printer using LUCIA PRO 11-Color plus Chroma Optimizer ink system. I print on Fredrix archival Canvas and treat each image with Sunset Gloss Coating for protection against UV. Lab tests suggest that images made with these materials and processes are colorfast for 100 years and with care 200. The image is gallery wrapped around wooden stretcher bars and attached with stainless steel staples for durability.
Stretching a large giclée
This becomes true heirloom art that is passed from generation to generation. The finished image is signed and ready to hang as is, or can be framed if the client so desires. Common image sizes in canvas include 18×12, 16×24, 20×30, 24×36 and larger panoramas up to 40×96.
